We both grew up in very loving families where family always came first. Both our parents are still married and enjoy life to its fullest. While we don’t live in the same cities as our family, we make it a priority to stay in close contact with frequent visits. Visits to see Amy’s parents on Kiawah Island, SC include lots of outdoor fun such as walking on the beach, tennis, biking, body surfing, kayaking, and exploring wildlife. We’re excited to see our little one discover turtle eggs with the Kiawah turtle conservation patrol. When we time our trips just right, we get to help the newly hatched turtles to sea. Amy’s brother and his family live in her hometown in Michigan while her sister lives in Charleston, SC. Neal’s family and brother live in Los Angeles, CA. Generally, you know you are near Neal’s family because the laughter can be heard from down the block! Our family is very excited about our desire to adopt and can’t wait to welcome another child into the family.
